Allexxis Allen: Dancing Imaginista....
Have you ever looked around you and wished there was something you
could do to help those in need? Nine year old Allexxis Allen not only looked,
but felt she needed to act by helping those less fortunate orphaned children,
abandoned/abused children, those in need of education, and many, many more. With the help of her Mom, Monique Allen, she followed her
philanthropic lead and Dancing for a Difference was born.....
Lexxie was born in ..Los Angeles.., ..California.. and lives in the ....South.. ..Bay....
beach community. Dancing is her biggest joy! She’s been dancing since age two and was recently accepted to the
famed ....Debbie.. ..Allen.. ..Dance..
..Academy..... Last year she created her own dance bag line, Bags too Riches,
based on ideas she saw at ....Los Angelas.... Gift Show the money she makes from
Bags Too Riches is donated to The Debbie Allen Dance Academy and Dance Precisions in Orange County . She is involved in the local Girl Scouts
troop. ....Reading.... difficulties and subsequent
aggressive studying have not stopped this little girl from reaching out and
making her dreams come true. She’s very resilient, always keeps her head held
high and believes in dancing through life! ....
Dancing for a Difference is a dance project
that organizes kids from all backgrounds who have a love for dance. An open competition is held creating an amazing opportunity to
dance without the associated financial burdens such as tuition costs, private
instruction and costumes. This not only produces a great show
for the general public (at a nominal charge) but all profits are donated to
great causes such as The Hands and Feet Children’s Village (an orphanage in
Haiti), Shoes 2 Share (an organization that puts shoes on the feet of children
all over the world), and more. She also receives donations’ of used dance shoes
from the local dance studios’; next she will clean and wash the shoes and
donate them to inter-city dance studios.
....
Lexxie always inspires her friends and family to dance their way
through life instead of letting circumstances get you down. For additional
